MONTREAL: PART 1

I'm back from a magical week in Old Montreal.  Amazing architecture, beautiful people, great friends and perfect summer weather...and oh, the food!

Breakfast at Le Cartet, including le mimosa.  Another day, I had this for brunch, same restaurant:

Ruby, the Caribbean island cat, hung out with me every morning during coffee.

Eggspectation for brunch...Fun and funky decor.

My dear friend S with her Kooba Sienna bag.  She's posing here in front of her office.  Interestingly, this is the spot where public hangings once took place.

Tiger lilies near the Saint Laurence River.

Posing with Winnie, my friend K's Caribbean jet-setter dog, at Place des Arts.  I'm wearing Ray-Ban Wayfarers, C&C tank, Hard Tail cardigan and American Apparel harem pants.  Via Spiga gladiator flats not shown.

Basilique Notre-Dame de Montreal...More Notre-Dame, next post.

Looks like you had a fabulous time! Montreal has been on my Must Visit list for a while, and your post has now kicked it up another few spaces.

You look great by the fountain!

Hope you had a chance to shop at Reborn in Old Montreal and all the nice shops and restaurants in Mile End. Did you come across any pieces by Complex Geometries? Can't wait to see what you bought!

Anonymous,

Yes, I did go to Reborn and bought something. Will post it soon. :) I was looking for specific labels: Rick Owens (score!) and ComplexGeometries. The SA told me they stopped carrying CG, which was a bit disappointing.
I don't think I made it to Mile End; it doesn't sound familiar. But we were all over the place, so who knows!

It is so nice to live vicariously through bloggers' vacations! The Place des Arts looks cool and so does your style with it. I'm jealous you scored some Rick Owens and I have been wondering where I can find Complex Geometries here!
