CANDLE

New Aveda candle in Shampure.
I was looking for my favorite, Rainforest, but the local Aveda store has been sold out of it for a while.

The only luxury department store in town sells a brand of candles called NestSome smell great but I don't care for the fancy packaging.  I wish I could remember the candle that Vidal Sassoon in Miami always had burning in the salon's lounge; the scent was sublime.

I've heard Diptyque is lovely.  I'll look when I'm in Houston or San Antonio.

YUM, I got calm and serence just looking at it and that's hard to do on a monday morning before work. I'll have to check it out. I have been on a candle kick over here, maybe with fall, it's brought out my nesting vibe.

diptyque are great smelling but $$$$$$ and dont burn clean, have a wire in wick or something.(french)
but i know a great brand tht comes in a little house box with great smells... will think of name of brand for you, it is US and more resonable.

It's been ages since I got myself such candles... but I do recall my fondness of the last one I got which was from L'Occitane... maybe it's time to bring back the candle habit.... haha

Soccer Mom Style,
I love the Shampure candle. I still like Rainforest the best- probably nostalgic reasons. :)
